Job role:
You’ll be working in the Client Accounting team in Jersey. You’ll be working closely with colleagues within your team and with partners and stakeholders across the location, taking a wider ‘one-team’ approach to ensure we succeed together as a combined unit.
You’ll also support, and be supported by, colleagues in the other trust locations to leverage our global expertise and to ensure full alignment across the locations. Our client is looking for a Trust Operations Specialist to:
• Calculate and invoice all annual and ad-hoc invoices for our diverse range of client structures
• Arrange settlement of all of our structure related disbursements and ensure that these are correctly recorded in our administration tool
• Work closely with our in-house Finance Team to ensure accurate data is delivered to them periodically and on a timely basis
• Perform daily bank reconciliations to support ongoing reporting and monitoring process
• Work closely with the Trust Administration team to support excellent client service
• Assist external auditors with developing an understanding of our fees/billing processes and the collection of information
• Drive and support continuous improvement of efficiency and effectiveness, incl. standardization and alignment across other trust locations
Expertise:
• Minimum of three to five years of previous work experience within the offshore trust industry, preferably as a trust and company accountant incl. bookkeeping, reconciliation, and preparation of trial balances and financial statements

• Analytical and methodical with close attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure and comfortable with strict policy and regulatory deadlines
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders
• Excellent team player but equally comfortable to work independently when required
• Hold, or studying towards, a relevant technical or professional qualification such as CAT or ACCA
• Experience with relevant administration and accounting software packages, preferably NavOne, and Excel
