Purpose of the role:
You will undertake the administration of a portfolio of complex trust and company structures with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise directly with Wealth Planners, Trust Relationship Managers, and Client Advisors with regard to day to day administration matters
- Review trust instruments with regard to trustee powers arrange meetings and prepare the appropriate minutes and resolutions
- Review corporate documentation and arrange meetings and prepare minutes where required
- Be responsible for client data ensuring that it is up to date and accurate
- Adopt a positive and solution-orientated approach to tasks liaising with colleagues where required
- Work with internal control functions where required
- Work with external advisors where required
- Understand fiduciary and AML risk and escalate any concerns
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Team Head or other members of Senior Management
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and peers
- Comply with all laws, regulations, policies, and standards, contributing to an effective risk culture
Skills required:
- A relevant professional qualification or working towards a relevant qualification e.g. STEP
- A minimum of three years experience in administering trust structures
- Knowledge of trust and company laws
- Good interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with both colleagues and clients
