Trust Manager - Private Client

Purpose of the role:

In this role, you will assist and support the Management team with the administration and management of Trust structures.

Responsibilities:

  • Always strive for excellent client service and delivery and help junior employees understand the Firm's ethos of excellence for them to do the same   
  • Managing a portfolio of Trusts and Companies for International High Net Worth individuals
  • Overseeing an Administration team including providing support and assistance in relation to client matters, training and appraisals
  • Maintaining solid relationships with client and intermediaries and to ensure they receive the highest standard of service at all times
  • Reviewing accounts files prepared by Administrative team
  • Liaising with Tax Advisors and ensuring compliance with tax planning advice and investment guidelines

Skills required:

  • To be professionally qualified in ICSA/ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent
  • To have 5 years+ experience working in a Trust & Company environment
  • To have advanced accounting/administration skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of general UK tax principles
  • To have an attitude that inspires respect and to be capable of taking the lead
  • A high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality is essential due to the nature of the work
