Purpose of the role:
As Trust Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of client service and appropriate levels of client relationship, fiduciary and transactional risk.
Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing technical advice, fiduciary guidance and assist in fiduciary client relationship management to complex personal trust clients
- Effectively manage the team through regular communication and objective setting, appraisals, performance management and career development
- Ensure all team members are aware of, and follow the relevant policies and procedures
- Assist with group organisation and the control of workflows, working with directors and other managers to ensure work is carried out in an orderly and timely fashion
- Be involved with complex and bespoke services provided to the fiduciary entities, ensuring that risks are properly identified, and appropriate action plans are put in place to mitigate the risks associated with fiduciary vehicles
- Review and maintain policies and procedures to reflect changes to the regulatory environment and train the team accordingly
Skills required:
- Qualified in STEP, ACCA, ACA, or similar professional qualification, or working towards the same
- Be proactive and forward-thinking with the ability to deal with tasks independently and use your initiative
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proven experience and ability to lead a team and assist with training and development of staff
