Purpose of the role:
To be responsible for a complex portfolio of clients, ensuring that a high level of service is given at all times, in accordance with relevant mandates, so that operational and fiduciary risk exposures are effectively managed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex portfolio ensuring a high level of service is provided whilst ensuring that operational and fiduciary risk is effectively managed and controlled
- Effectively manage staff reporting to you ensuring they understand their objectives and what is expected of them and that there is always a good open channel of communication
- Assist to ensure that the business meets its financial targets, particularly by maximising Special Time when appropriate and ensuring the timely collection of client invoices
- Hold a key role in the team including liaising with senior management, key family office contacts, professional advisors and other stakeholders as required
- Ensure that the Company's procedures and standards are met with efficient processing and completion of accounts, annual and investment review points
- Encourage the development of staff by ensuring effective performance assessment appraisals and individual training and development programmes are applied to staff as appropriate
Skills required:
- You must be an experienced and qualified professional with a minimum of 10 years management practice of Trust and Fiduciary services including an understanding of business development, operational and financial activities
- A focus on quality service delivery supported by commercial sense so as to identify and anticipate business opportunities, weaknesses and strengths to be able to develop appropriate initiatives that link the business with broader company initiatives within the group and into new areas through professional intermediaries and other contacts
- Hold a relevant professional qualification enabling you to hold a table 4 qualification along with relevant experience as defined by the Jersey Financial Services Commission

- You will be expected to maintain an awareness of industry best practice and developments in other jurisdictions so that the range of services offered to client is continually reviewed
