Trust Administrator

Purpose of the role:

This role will be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of a portfolio of structures of varying complexity, dealing with clients and intermediaries on a daily basis. Reporting to a Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all administration and client services issues are attended to in accordance with the company’s procedures manual in force at any given time and relevant client agreements and other documents
  • Attendance in meetings with clients and/or their Advisers, always with the support of a Manager, and the development of the relationships with them
  • Attending to correspondence and telephone contact with clients and/or their Advisers on all matters in a timely and efficient manner
  • Responsible for the efficient day to day management of all clients affairs in accordance with the terms of appointment including the maintenance of all relevant Trust/Company records
  • Undertake transactions as delegated and refer to the Manager for technical assistance
  • Maintenance of statutory records in conjunction with the Corporate Secretarial Team
  • Preparation and submission of regulatory deliverables to the relevant regulatory body

Skills required:

  • You will already be qualified as required to be at least a Category C employee as described by the JFSC and will be continuing with your studies to enable you to reach Diploma/Professional level
  • Be able to work on your own initiative
  • Enjoy and thrive in working in a team environment, be able to prioritise your work and assist less experienced staff where necessary, and foster strong and effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Posses a high level of integrity and diplomacy
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
