Trainee Administrator

Purpose of the role:

You will provide on-going assistance and support to the team in respect of the high quality administration of a portfolio of corporate clients as part of Governance Services provision of corporate administration services.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Company/Litigation searches and ordering of any documents from the Registry
  • Undertake scanning and filing of any client documentation
  • Assist the team with client due diligence and also undertake compliance checks in respect of any new business
  • Assist with the on-going data input within the corporate services practice management database
  • Provide assistance to the team with the preparation of Annual Validations and Returns for companies administered in Jersey
  • Answer telephone calls and take detailed messages on behalf of the team
  • Assist and support with the administration of a portfolio of corporate clients and ensure that client relationships and transactions are managed effectively and to a high standard

Skills required:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to build relationships and work as part of a team
  • A desire to succeed within a financial services role
  • A positive and flexible approach
  • Ability to manage and prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
