Purpose of the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to train and be part of a dynamic, fast-growing team, offering full study support and on the job learning. Within this role you will assist with delivering the financial reporting requirements for Private Equity clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of financial statements for a range of client structures to UK GAAP or IFRS standards, with supervision as required
- Support the compiling of working papers for all financial statements prepared
- Assist Bookkeepers with the resolution of bookkeeping issues
- Check and approve bank reconciliations prepared by Bookkeepers
- Support the preparation of drawdown, equalisation and distribution files
Skills required:
- Be studying towards an appropriate accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA
- Previous experience within a financial services firm is desirable
- Experience producing financial statements
- An awareness and understanding of private equity, current industry legislation and regulation
