Purpose of the role:
Your primary role will be to work closely with the Senior Manager on preparing annual AEOI reporting and supporting the wider business in maintaining tax records.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Senior Manager in preparing the annual FATCA/CRS reporting for the business
- Managing tax records, in particular for FATCA/CRS and Economic Substance
- Delivering FATCA/CRS compliance support to various Financial Institutions
- Supporting the Senior Manager in local tax compliance for managed companies and partnerships
- Working together with the Client Administrators and Managers to identify any gaps in following internal tax risk compliance processes and application of policies and procedures
- Working with the Senior Manager and other stakeholders on various tax projects and tax automation initiatives
Skills required:
- Practical basic knowledge of corporate, fund and trust structures
- Demonstrable basic practical knowledge of FATCA/CRS rules, as well as basic understanding of economic substance and general tax compliance processes
