About the role:
Work closely with the business and Technology teams to design and implement the interconnection and enhancement of existing and new business systems and data sources to minimise data duplication, improve data quality and increase business efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key internal stakeholders and external specialists to build out the data strategy, enhance business intelligence reporting, develop more complex reporting requirements and improve data quality. This will include helping to design, build and run the data strategy and platform using modern data warehousing and interfacing technologies
- Assist in the accurate and consistent migration of systems and data between platforms and applications as required, ensuring that all stakeholders are fully engaged, and business goals are met.
- Work with internal teams and external suppliers to identify automation opportunities, develop and deploy automation solutions and ultimately streamline business processes to increase business efficiency.
Requirements:
- This is a key group role based within Jersey based Technology Team. The role covers requirements across all jurisdiction and business lines. Liaison with a wide range of stakeholders is therefore essential as is ensuring that all stakeholders are fully engaged and onboard with changes and initiatives. Excellent interpersonal and communisation skills are therefore essential.
- A skilled business systems specialist and data engineer who will lead the expansion and implementation of the system integration and data strategy.
- Have a strong background in business system support, system integration, data engineering and business intelligence development.
