Purpose of the role:
This is a deeply technical/hands-on role with a focus on innovation and requires excellent communication collaborating with Managers and business partners, across a global network.
Responsibilities:
- Take part in change dialogue as facilitated by the Programme Delivery team, the Head of IT or business stakeholders
- Lead and take part in sessions to develop potential technical solutions to business needs with colleagues
- Develop scalable and secure software when COTS software will not be sufficient to meet their needs and establish software development best practices
- Establish, coordinate and manage outsourced software development activity as required for particular projects
- Ensure any changes to production systems are logged and undertaken according to our change management process
- Document all design and implementation to ensure the wider department understands your solutions
Skills required:
- Be familiar with building solutions that factor in the competing factors like performance, reliability, security, and cost
- Interested in sharing knowledge and developing less experienced department staff
- Accomplished in developing with Microsoft .NET Core and/or C#
- Accomplished understanding of SQL (Microsoft SQL, Azure SQL)
- Accomplished in legal software platforms (Intapp Integrate)
- Understanding of Information Security considerations in system design
