Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second line IT support to their global employees
- Responsible to answer general IT questions, set up new users, administration of Office 365, server admin tasks and support the wider IT group with local IT queries
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Hold a relevant industry qualification or working towards ITIL V4 Practitioner would be great, but it is not a deal breaker
- You'll need to have a good knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
- Previous experience of configuring and maintaining Windows Server 2019
- Knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V platforms is essential
