Service Desk Engineer

Purpose of the role:

You will be part of a global service delivery team supporting the Jersey and the wilder business with first and second line IT support.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as a Service Desk Engineer, your responsibilities of the role will grow and adapt to changing needs, below are the core duties of the role, which are not exhaustive
  • Provide first and second line IT desktop support for users and infrastructure
  • General IT questions
  • Software/Application patching
  • Configuring laptops, mobiles, screens and printers
  • Support VIPs in the local office
  • Setting up new users, including providing Technology Inductions
  • Removing employees from the system when they have left the organisation
  • Administration of Office 365, Azure, Intune and conditional access

Skills required:

  • A few years' experience in a Service Desk role
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-sufficient & self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic
