Purpose of the role:
As the Senior Trust Officer, Private Wealth, you will be responsible for the administration and client service of a portfolio of high net worth clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist and supervise junior team members with the administration of their portfolios
- Manage the administration and client service of a portfolio of high net worth clients
- Consider client requests in consultation with file Manager/Director on technical and legal matters or any sensitive issues where appropriate
- Responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of all client affairs in accordance with the terms of the appointment including the maintenance of all relevant Trust/Company records within the portfolio
- Arrange the opening and closing of bank accounts and liaison with relevant banks in relation to transactions
- Complete all tasks that arise as a result of the annual and periodic client reviews and other internal control reviews in a timely and efficient manner
Skills required:
- 3-5 years’ experience in trust and company administration
- Thorough working knowledge of Trust and Company Administration, to include relevant legislation, regulation and sound understanding of basic accounting
- Ability to recognise and respond to risk situations and remain up to date with appropriate legislation and professional standards
- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and colleagues
