Purpose of the role:
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of private client structures reporting directly to a Director and provide support to other Managers in the team.
Responsibilities:
- Always strive for excellent client service and delivery and help junior employees understand the Firm's ethos of excellence for them to do the same
- Administering the affairs of a portfolio of private client structures including Trusts and companies for high net worth families
- Taking the principal client contact on a day-to-day basis, and overseeing the Administrative team, delegating and reviewing work as appropriate to ensure all reporting deadlines and client expectations are met in a timely manner
- Support to the Director by dealing with the client queries, projects, writing proposal documents, business development, meeting intermediaries and managing the team
- To increase impact and credibility to the client, have an increased intervention power To assume progressively the responsibility of mandates for the clients
- To ensure the link between the needs of the clients, their operational effects and the services of the company
Skills required:
- To be professionally qualified in ICSA/ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent
- To have 7 years+ experience working in a Trust environment
- To have advanced accounting/administration skills
- Ideally experience with structures holding LP investments, although not essential, providing a logical and organised approach
- Good knowledge and understanding of general UK tax principles and tax legislation relevant to offshore structures
