Purpose of the role:
As a Senior Tax Manager you will provide technical direct tax support to clients with the backing of your team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring direct tax compliance requirements are met for your own client portfolio and also support support your team with technical matters
- Advising the Client Services teams on direct tax related matters
- Supporting the Client Services teams by attending client meetings
- Provide technical input to the Business Development team
- Draft tax articles for our newsletters and support with other marketing initiatives
- Research and analysis new and current tax legislation that will impact the business and clients
Skills required:
- Strong technical skills and a proven track record of dealing successfully with a wide range of UK tax issues
- Technical experience of UK and Isle of Man and/or Jersey/Guernsey tax regimes
- A qualified professional - CTA/ACA/ACCA
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to assist with the development of the business
- Have relevant experience in the Corporate and Trust Service Environment (desirable)
- Previous experience of Business Development (desirable)
