Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Senior Service Desk Analyst to work with the Regional IT Team providing 2nd and 3rd line support.
Responsibilities:
- As and when required working within the IT team providing 2nd and 3rd line support across offices in multiple jurisdictions and time zones
- Encouraging teamwork, assisting to develop fellow team member’s skills and knowledge, provide guidance and as point of escalation
- Actively seeks to follow up and close user issues (with or without support of other team members)
- Completion of IT operational tasks
- Ensure maximum availability and uptime of systems running on hardware, such as email systems and systems relying on database servers and file servers
- Ensure that all systems are fully backed-up and resilient and that data is stored securely in line with IT security requirements
- Ensure IT security is at the forefront of all delivery, minimizing any potential risk of data loss from the organization
Skills required:
- Qualifications in Microsoft solutions for example: Windows OS, Office Suite, Active Directory, Exchange and Office365 desirable
- A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience within a similar role
- Experience of working part of a team
- Experience of working in or had experience of working in\for different jurisdictions
- Experience with Backup administration
- PC\Server Hardware support experience
