Purpose of the role:
In this role, you will manage the delivery of multiple projects, focussing on the Governance Services business, working closely with the Head of Programme Delivery, CIO and Business Services Heads.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Head of Programme Delivery to implement a standard project management methodology and business change process - to cover initiation, analysis, approval, testing and implementation as part of both a project delivery methodology and completion of non-project initiatives/tasks
- Directly manage key business change projects, with a particular focus on the Governance Services business, supporting teams, in all jurisdictions, from the creation of a Business Cases through to delivery and planned integration into BAU
- Manage direct and indirect project resources to identify delivery constraints, identify solutions to fulfil shortfalls to ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes
- Play a key role in the wider change delivery team, providing project management expertise to the law firm, Governance Services and Consulting
Skills required:
- Proven experience in delivering project management, business analysis and business change within a financial services environment
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification, e.g., PRINCE2
- Demonstrable capability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional projects through to successful completion
- Solid financial and commercial knowledge supported by a relevant professional qualification
- Proven solution-orientated critical thinking with the ability to drive effective operational change and create unified and collaborative ways of working across the firm
