Purpose of the role:
You will have the overall responsibility for the FATCA and CRS reporting regime and be the primary contact for the Administration team for the delivery of FATCA and CRS tax reporting to a varied portfolio of clients and related entities and the Global operating companies.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the policy and procedures for FATCA and CRS tax reporting
- Management of the classification service delivery for clients
- Liaising with clients and third parties such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and investment managers as required
- Liaising with internal stakeholders such as the corporate governance team, operating officers and finance team as required
- Steering of administration teams and corporate governance team for queries on the FATCA and CRS tax reporting
- Supervise and assist in the classification services by Administrators
- Assess any additional training needs for Administrators regarding the FATCA and CRS tax reporting requirements
Skills required:
- 4-6 years’ relevant experience in the tax reporting/finance industry preferred
- Strong academic background, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Working towards or hold a professional qualification such as ACCA, ICSA
- Excellent understanding of the FATCA and CRS classification and reporting requirements
- Good understanding of the applicable statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements
