Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Legal COO, the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives, is responsible for supporting the Executive team, working within the lifecycle of strategic and operational initiatives for the legal firm, as well as supporting the Legal COO with other group strategic priorities. These can include new products, service lines, and locations in accordance with group strategy and Vision.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal COO in delivery on Group priorities, which can be diverse and encompassing all areas of Business Services and the wider firm
- Evaluate market requirements to determine product and service specifications regulatory and operational requirements and pricing policies
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including partners, Directors Executive Board) and support delivery of the agreed legal and group strategic priorities, including new product and services and market entry initiatives in line with applicable regulatory requirements
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and make strategic recommendations on new strategic priorities
- Work closely with peers in other jurisdictions, sharing best practice, coordinate activity and resources
- Build strong relationships with colleagues
Skills required:
- Self-driven, confident and willing to take on responsibility with the ability to balance competing demands
- Knowledge of the legal industry, with an excellent understanding of services offered by the company and competitors

- Good understanding of LEAN/Six Sigma and/or general continuous improvement tools
