About the role:
The purpose of this role is to support strategic leadership, provide operational oversight, and contribute to the commercial direction of the fund administration function. As an Associate Director/Senior Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient delivery of high-quality fund administration services. Working closely with the Director and senior leadership, you will help lead a team of professionals, nurture strong client relationships, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to the ongoing growth and profitability of the business. This role is instrumental in supporting the operational strategy, enhancing client satisfaction, and upholding the firm’s strong market reputation.
Responsibilities:
• Support the leadership and oversight of the fund administration department, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across a portfolio of complex fund structures in the alternatives sector.
• Act as a senior client contact, managing key relationships and delivering excellent service in line with the Client Service Model.
• Assist in developing and implementing departmental strategy aligned with business objectives, including workflow optimization and resource planning.
Requirements:
• Professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CFA) preferred.
• At least 10 years’ experience in fund administration or financial services, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures, especially in alternative assets.
• Prior experience interacting with regulators and operating in a regulated environment is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate complex client portfolios, and contribute to operational strategy.
• Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
• Familiarity with fund administration systems (e.g., Investran, eFront, Allvue) and workflow tools.
