Senior Manager - Compliance
Purpose of the role:
To carry out the functions of risk management with emphasis on ensuring that the business operates within all required legislation, regulations, and Group directives.
Responsibilities:
To provide oversight, support, guidance, and advice to the Jersey Trust business with respect to all compliance and regulatory matters
Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place in respect of the Jersey Trust Business to comply with relevant law, regulation, and Group requirements
Provide input and direction into new or changed procedures, in order to meet best practice and regulatory requirements, and drive improvements in efficiency, across the Jersey Trust business
Training staff on compliance and regulatory issues as required
Lead responsibility and oversight of annual reviews
Ensuring the company’s procedures are implemented and standards met
Responsibility for the oversight of all internal and external auditors’ visits; to at least include pre-visit preparation, liaison and on-site oversight, and coordination of any resultant activity
