Purpose of the role:
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join the Client Accounting team at Senior Manager level.
The Senior Manager must be driven and focused on providing exceptional service to clients. They will have responsibility for reviewing the accuracy of company's clients bookkeeping and financial statements preparation as well as supporting on team planning, monitoring deadlines, coaching team members, assisting in reviewing and improving internal procedures and developing our client reporting and value-added services.
Responsibilities:
- Review internally and externally prepared financial statements
- Preparation of company and trust financial statements
- Preparation of management reporting
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services and reporting to clients
- Liaise with clients and intermediaries when required
- Report on and monitor progress against statutory and internal deadlines
- Provide guidance to, develop and coach other members of the team
- Lead the team and manage priorities when the Head of Client Accounting is away from the office
Skills required:
- In depth knowledge of FRS 102 is essential
- Experience of IFRS is desirable
- Reasonable knowledge of Jersey trust and company law and practice
- Strong attention to detail
- A desire to continually work towards improving standards
