About the role
The role holder will be taking on specific responsibilities for managing complex client structures and providing support to colleagues on the existing portfolio of clients and other new business opportunities. The type of structures you will be involved with will include Jersey limited partnerships, Jersey unit trusts and Jersey limited liability companies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of new client proposals / fee quotes and participate in new business pitches
- Assist with the take-on and the transfer-in of new business, in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures
- Administer a portfolio of fund clients, respective management companies and associated fund structures, ensuring that client relationships and transactions are managed efficiently, to a high standard
Requirements:
- Proven fund experience, preferably administration and company secretarial experience (minimum of 7-10 years)
- Holding a relevant chartered secretary or chartered governance qualification (or ACCA / legal qualifications)
- Having strong knowledge of Jersey's Funds, Partnership, Company, AML, economic substance and tax regulation and legislation, and have proven experience in Jersey funds, corporate and tax filings
