Purpose of the role:
To assist with the administration, bookkeeping and preparation of accounts for a portfolio of Alternative Investment Funds under the supervision of the Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts packs under stated accounting policies
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements prepared under UK GAAP and stated accounting policies
- Assist with the preparation of an audit pack for provision to auditors and the overall audit process
- Dealing with a varied range of client queries
- Liaise with auditors for periodic audit visits
- Bookkeeping for a range of Investment funds including posting all cash transactions
- Administration support for internal systems, including the addition of new ledgers and transactions
Skills required:
- ACA/CA/ACCA qualified or equivalent or be working towards the completion of such qualification
- Ability to be proactive with very close attention to detail to ensure work is of a consistently high standard
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and applications, particularly Word, and Excel (intermediate level)
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail as well as accurate and timely completion of work
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
