Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this position is to provide board governance services and carry out day-to-day administration to a portfolio of corporate and fund structures within the Corporate Services team.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain members availability for meetings and coordinate production of Board, Committee and adhoc meeting packs. Collate and distribute meeting packs
- Attend (by video call) and coordinate Board/Committee meetings as a minute taker and ensure information discussed in the meeting is accurately recorded. Record all salient discussions, decisions and actions and provide draft minutes and action logs within client KPI’s
- Carry out all aspects of Board Governance matters, including client on-boarding, maintaining internal systems and databases, company secretarial matters and responding to day-to-day client correspondence
- Maintain accurate records for all entities administered including contact information, shareholder details and processing all changes thereon
- Incorporation of companies/partnerships, annual and other ad hoc filings on Registrar portals
Skills required:
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
- Financial services experience and sound technical financial services knowledge
- Legal degree and/or partial completion of Corporate Governance Institute UK (CGi/ICSA) qualifications preferable
- Good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
- Very good organisation and time management
