About the role:
The Senior Compliance Officer must be able to exercise sound judgement to determine appropriate actions/solutions at solving complex technical and practical problems ensuring that work is prioritised accordingly so that both business deadlines and regulatory expectations are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to all members of the compliance team along with maintaining and sustaining a good working relationship with colleagues from other departments.

- Undertake Codes of Practice (as applicable) monitoring reports each month at the same time as undertaking a risk review. If required, further monitoring reports may be requested.
Skills required:
- Good understanding of relevant and applicable regulation/legislation; being a source of knowledge and expertise to provide guidance and technical support to the business.
- Will ideally hold or will be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or CGI)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
