Purpose of the role:
To perform all functions required of a MLCO.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Board with maintaining the AML/CFT/CPF business risk assessment
- Test the residual risk of the AML/CFT/CPF BRA and report any areas of concern to the Board
- Support and guide the business as and when required where there are scenarios that are complex or do not fit neatly within the current process as set out in the policies and procedures
- Provide regular (minimum of quarterly) written reports to the Risk Committee in support of changes to the AML/CFT/CPF BRA
Skills required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a Compliance Officer role within the Jersey trust industry, of which 5 must be at a management level
- Fully qualified to meet Category B requirements as described in the JFSC Codes of Practice for TCB
- Excellent networking, communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage a team
