Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Communications professional to report to the Head of Communications, the role will provide general administrative support to the Communications team as and when required.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Communications team and key stakeholders across the business to define objectives and create communication campaigns which reinforce their bright alternative brand
- Support the team in the delivery of change communications as part of key projects
- Prepare internal communications for a variety of channels including but not limited to authoring copy/content for intranet articles, internal briefings, email cascades, video scripts, announcements, newsletters and internal campaigns
- Prepare external communications and content for all channels including the website, press releases, feature articles and advertising campaigns
- Support on employer brand and recruitment-focused communications and content for use on the website, in press releases, feature articles, advertising and award entries
Skills required:
- Proven relevant communications experience
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing or CIM Certificate/Diploma would be preferable
- Experience with intranet platforms like SharePoint, email newsletter tools such as Poppulo and DotDigital, and CMS systems such as WordPress would be hugely beneficial
- Experience of working within a creative agency or marketing function with a communications focus
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office
