Purpose of the role:
Working within the Jersey Client Accounting team, this role will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and day to day operations of the accounting functions of a variety of different clients.
In this role you will be the central point of contact for external auditor liaisons for a number of clients, developing strong relationships with clients and other internal teams and service lines. You will also be reviewing the input of bookkeepers and preparing annual financial statements and management accounts for your bank of clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the day to day integrity of the client ledgers, reviewing the input of bookkeepers
- Routine month end / quarter end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
- Preparing annual Financial Statements for a portfolio of clients
Skills, knowledge & expertise:
- You will be a qualified accountant (either newly qualified or with a few years' post-qualification experience - ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in the use of MS Excel.
- We're keen to see candidates with a highly diligent and organised approach to work, ideally with previous experience in a client facing role. Experience within either Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate or Debt Capital Market accounting environment is also desirable, though not essential.
