About the role:
This role is a great stepping stone for those who are studying towards an accounting qualification. The role involves the day-to-day responsibility of a small portfolio of clients plus providing oversight and assistance to junior team members if appropriate.
Key responsibilities:
- The preparation of a small portfolio of financial statements.
- Assistance to junior team members in resolving simple queries.
- Preparation of ad-hoc reporting to include, but not limited to, management accounts, loan interest schedules and asset statements.
- Work closely with the Team to provide support where necessary
Skills and experience required:
- Part ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Trust and Company accounts preparation.
- Experience with IFRS, FRS 102 and FRS 102 Section 1A accounts.
- Ability to prepare accounts of a moderately simple nature for Trusts and Companies.
- Excellent numeracy and computer skills, particularly working knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
