Purpose of the role:
To assist the Company Secretary with the maintenance and corporate governance of the in-house Group companies.
Responsibilities:
- Complete full range of company secretarial tasks in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure highly responsive day to day correspondence with internal departments, central functions, statutory and regulatory authorities as required
- Preparing and overseeing draft meeting agenda ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Requesting reports for inclusion in Board packs
- Circulation of action points and minutes to attendees for comments within agreed timeframes
- Finalising of action points and minutes and arranging for approval and/or signing within agreed timeframes
Skills required:
- Studying or a willingness to study for: ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute CSQS/GradCG/MSC
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant finance industry experience, preferably within a Trust and Company environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of the local finance industry and regulatory requirements
