Purpose of the role:
To safely implement the various strategies being developed by the Board of the business to fulfil its objective to grow the business and to be a first-class service provider.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved in maintaining the client onboarding and Service Plan, assist in setting standards and objectives for consideration by the Board to be refreshed annually
- Ensure all client communications, and instructions are answered and completed in a timely manner, and all bank account reconciled daily, and all investment trades processed within agreed timescales
- Maintain, enhance the existing “how to guides” and produce new ones as and when required, to ensure clear processing procedures in place
- To be involved in producing monthly updates to the Board on the progress being made in fulfilling the objectives detailed in the Client Onboarding and Service Plan, and any other relevant matters
- To endorse and promote a positive culture of compliance throughout the business
- To manage any subordinates and to undertake relevant work that fall within your remit, motivate, delegate and have responsibility for direct reports
Skills required:
- Strong administrator with a proven track record of providing excellent administrative services, including banking, administrative transactions preferably with investment experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in the finance industry ideally in an investment/trust/company administration environment
- Be able to demonstrate possession and practical application of relevant expertise in all aspects of administration with ideally investment knowledge
- Have good computer skills in Word, Excel, databases, and other document systems. Preferably Microsoft applications
