Purpose of the role:
Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Resourcing professional. Working closing with the Resourcing Manager, this role will provide a reliable, supportive and proactive resourcing service to the business, promoting best practice in all areas of recruitment and on-boarding whilst maintaining high levels of confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for interviewing and selecting new hires in partnership with line managers
- Assisting the Resourcing Manager with recruitment campaigns for senior hires
- Advising Managers on recruitment and selection best practice
- Liaising with Recruitment Agencies and direct applicants
- Arranging candidate interviews
- Updating job descriptions
- Drafting wording for recruitment adverts and liaising accordingly with Marketing or third parties
- Drafting contracts of employment/offer letters
- Work with the Resourcing Manager to build and manage candidate pipelines
- Take responsibility of new joiner process
- Liaising with internal teams regarding new joiners
- Setting up induction timetables
- Processing all HR related invoices and payment requests relating to recruitment
- Draft standard correspondence
- Assisting with HR reporting relating to recruitment
- Answering telephone and responding to email queries
- Ensuring the HR database is accurate and up to date at all times
- Liaising with employees on a daily basis
- Dealing with minor employee queries and concerns
- Assist in the undertaking of specific HR Projects
Skills required:
- A Levels or equivalent (BTEC, IB)
- GCSE English and Maths at A or B grade
- University Degree
- Experience working in a recruitment environment, either in-house or a recruitment agency
- A strong working knowledge of Jersey Employment Law and recruitment best practice
- A good understanding of the finance industry is required
