Purpose of the role:
Working within the Group Finance team provide financial management, support, and governance of the overseas group subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overseas subsidiaries financial operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of group transactions and maintenance of key controls for group entities
- Lead and manage the monthly and quarterly financial close routines and timetable for overseas subsidiaries to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial results within a strict time frame for inclusion into the group consolidation
- Support local boards in ensuring regulatory compliance for overseas subsidiaries
- Preparation of financial statements for subsidiary entities in multiple jurisdictions
- Lead and manage local Audits within set timelines
Skills required:
- GCSE’s in English Language and Mathematics
- ACA/ACCA Qualified or similar
- Experience or exposure to a financial management environment or similar
- Financial accounting and preparation of simple financial statements
- Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP principles
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
- Understanding of controls in a financial reporting context
