Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Receptionist to welcome guests and greet people who visit, as well as including co-ordination of reception activities, distribution of inbound and outbound mail and redirecting telephone calls that are received on a group number.
Responsibilities:
- Answer, screen and forward incoming telephone calls to group numbers
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials including pens, forms and brochures
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via telephone or email
- Receive, sort and distribute mail and deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk. This includes the keeping of a logbook for visitors and issuing visitors security passes
Skills required:
- Previous reception and office experience
- Excellent written and verbal English
- A high level of accuracy with good attention to detail
- Good deskside manner
- Clear telephone manner
