Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their global team. Working collaboratively with the Head of Programme Delivery, you'll integrate the firm's global strategy via the successful completion of business change projects that support firm's planned growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage key business change projects, working with various practice groups and support teams, in all jurisdictions, from the creation of business cases through to operationalisation
- Manage direct and indirect project resources to identify capacity constraints and identify solutions to fulfil shortfalls to ensure projects are delivered within agreed time frames
- Play a key role in the Programmes & Operational Excellence team, providing project management expertise across the firm
- Set up and monitor all project plans and budgets, implementing controls and escalation procedures
- Develop and deliver regular MI reports, to enable the effective monitoring of project progress, including raising issues and any potential risks of over spend on budgets or slippage in time scales
- Promote and develop collaborative working with internal and external resources in order to achieve continuous improvement in the provision of services
Skills required:
- Educated to degree or equivalent and can demonstrate significant knowledge gained through experience in a similar work environment
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2
- At least five years' experience delivering project management, business analysis and business change within the legal and/or financial services environment
- Experience and knowledge of systems and business processes specific to the legal and/or financial services environment
