Purpose of the role:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager, who will be responsible for the effective end to end delivery of change through all stages of the Change Framework to deliver to our group objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project execution proactively and take ownership of project deliverables
- Take ownership of all aspects of the project and develop a financial baseline, ensuring project achieves business goals including profitability, revenue, payment and benefits realisation milestones
- Conduct weekly project meetings and produce meeting minutes and update RAID logs in the PPM tool
- Using the PPM tool, develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource plans. Identify risks, issues, dependencies and manage resolution throughout the project lifecycle
- Organise and lead effective project teams, delegating where appropriate and facilitating desired outcomes
- Shape and deliver change management plans including communications, using change champions where available, to successfully transition the business to new ways of working as required by the project outcomes
Skills required:
- University degree, preferably in a business, finance or computer science discipline
- Project management qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ proven practical experience working as a project manager in a change environment with a proven ability to deliver successful projects using structure methodologies
- Prince 2 Practitioner certification essential plus Agile an advantage considered
- Experience in rolling out business system applications in financial/professional services organisations is essential
