Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for someone to join their team who shares their vision and can help to support their culture of continuous improvement. As a Project Manager, you will lead teams to deliver projects from inception through to the handover to business, ensuring the delivery of specified products and services within agreed time, quality and cost parameters.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that their chosen project management methodologies are applied to all projects
- Engaging with key stakeholders to identify project objectives and deliverables
- Developing project specifications, agreeing project scope, key activities, deliverables, resource requirements, milestones and deadlines
- Managing projects within agreed governance structures and processes, to ensure consistency of approach and efficient use of resources
- Utilising project plans and schedules to monitor and drive project execution, as well as conducting progress reviews to give stakeholders confidence that projects will deliver to time, budget and within agreed standards
- Conduct reviews to assess project outcomes and to identify and capture lessons learned to enable continuous improvement
- Contribute to the provision of documentation for new or improved processes to ensure that good practice is disseminated throughout the organisation
Skills required:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of project management processes and methodologies
- Good attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with project management software tools
- A solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
