Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for ensuring the outsourced services of the organisation are operating effectively across the Channel Islands.
Responsibilities:
- Manage CI’s outsourcing program, across areas including people, technology, data etc.
- Responsible for the company’s outsourcing policy, which must be approved by the Board of Directors
- Complete prior and in-depth analysis (risk assessment) for any contemplated outsourcing including a description of services, expected results and a detailed evaluation of the risks for, among other things, financial, operational, legal and reputational risks
- Conduct on-site due diligence assessments of material outsourcing services providers
- Monitor, report and propose changes to outsourcing policy and procedures where necessary ensuring adherence to the outsourcing guidelines of our regulators
- Monitor, report and propose changes to SLA performance of each outsourced service provider
- Provide oversight reporting of outsourced providers KPI/SLA’s to the Committees
- Work with the internal control functions on monitoring, identifying and remediating issues or risks
Skills required:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in outsourcing and vendor risk management in a financial services organisation
- Experience in managing and working with Global Service Centres
- Effective quantitative, analytical and interpretive skills
