Operations & Compliance Assistant
Responsibilities:
Preparing commodity trade confirmations and invoices
Ensuring that all payments and deliveries are matched against invoices and trade confirmations
Assisting with cash and inventory settlements when required
Assisting with the completion of customer due diligence and KYC forms received from new and existing clients
Assisting with the bank and registry account opening
Preparing meeting minutes
Providing general administrative support to Operations and Compliance departments
Perform all other duties as assigned
Skills required:
Good MS Excel skills
Ability to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks and work to tight timescales
Hardworking and willing to assist and take on new tasks
Organised and attentive to detail
Ability to follow instructions both independently using their own initiative and within the team environment
Knowledge of financial products and ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in financial markets would be considered as an advantage
Previous back-office experience in an administrative position would be beneficial, but not essential
