Purpose of the role:
To identify and assess operational risks within the business and ensure the risk monitoring framework is being followed.
Responsibilities:
- Identification and assessment of the operational risks that the business is exposed to
- Defining the risk monitoring and mitigation framework (segregation of duties, controls, incident management, action plans, etc)
- Ensuring the continuous implementation and adaptation of this framework and any actions for improvement that may be required
- Ensuring proper awareness of risks and training on the risk mitigation framework
- Ensuring timely and transparent reporting to hierarchical and functional reporting lines
Skills required:
- Three years’ experience working in a custody, corporate trustee or banking role
- A Risk Management qualification
- Knowledge of Operational Risk procedures and governance
- Ability to interrogate to establish facts
