Purpose of the role:
Assist the Client Service Teams in the delivery of an effective AML Onboarding & CDD Management Framework covering a broad range of investor structures.
Responsibilities:
- To effectively & autonomously handle client onboarding relationships through the management of AML processes, including due diligence on both new and existing investors (CDD reviews), interpreting complex structures and appropriately applying the three-tier-test
- Be responsible for Executing background checks and searches/client profiling, carrying out screening and Open Source searches as appropriate
- Be responsible for assessing the screening alerts and scrutinising hits to identify potential onboarding (or other) risks. To escalate matters to Compliance /MLCO if appropriate
Skills required:
- Relevant and adequate AML / CDD and onboarding experience, ideally working in a funds environment
- Professional Compliance Qualification at Diploma level preferable, but not necessary subject to relevant experience
- To have an attitude that inspires respect and to be capable of taking the lead
