Purpose of the role:
To work closely with the Head of Monitoring in delivering a robust compliance monitoring programme for a portfolio of regulated client entities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the client compliance and Manager’s Compliance teams, as well as the client Boards and the Manager/wider business to ensure effective compliance services are provided to clients
- Undertake both planning and execution of the clients’ Compliance Monitoring Programmes and managing the findings and action points arising therefrom through to resolution
- Prepare compliance monitoring reports for the company and clients
- Provide general day-to-day management of compliance monitoring matters, workloads, and deadlines
- Provide guidance, oversight, training and mentoring to junior members of the team
- Deliver any other compliance tasks and deliverables, as required
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a compliance role, a Diploma level professional Compliance Qualification or you may also be from a non-compliance background but have relevant experience and a genuine interest in undertaking a role that rewards independent thinking, professional judgement, and analytical skills
- Be motivated by working in a collaborate, friendly, and supportive team that strives to provide exceptional compliance services to portfolio of regulated clients
- A genuine desire to work in compliance and a passion for regulatory and AML matters
- A strong background and understanding of financial services
