Purpose of the role:
Reporting directly to Senior Manager or Associate Director, Client Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements including complex accounting work
- Prepare and review periodic reports, capital account statements, net asset valuations, including equalisation adjustments, as required
- Ensure accurate and up to date accounting records are maintained in client entity databases (Viewpoint)
- Ensure that you have a detailed understanding of the transactions you are dealing with and liaise with your line manager as required
- Ensure client expectations and accounting deadlines are properly managed
- Attend Client Board meetings and present financial reports
Skills required:
- Qualified ACCA/ACA or qualified by relevant experience with good up to date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, including practical application
- Knowledge of US GAAP would be an advantage
- Previous experience of accounting systems, particularly Viewpoint would be an advantage
