Manager - Private Client

Purpose of the role:

You will manage a team providing comprehensive trust and company administration services for a international client base and undertaking business development/marketing opportunities as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team administers their client portfolio to a high standard in accordance with the Office Procedures Manual and that all work is undertaken/completed in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with your team, intermediaries, clients and client advisors
  • Ensure the delivery of superior client service either personally or through team members as appropriate
  • Identify any training needs for the team and in the absence of a Senior Administrator, provide day to day training to Administrators and Assistant Administrators to build up their confidence and knowledge of Private Client Services
  • Review the teams billing and monitoring of debt collection
  • Have awareness of the teams financial and personal targets (i.e. billing and personal utilisation targets), making sure these are reviewed frequently, with any areas of concern being addressed appropriately in a timely manner

Skills required:

  • ICSA or STEP qualified
  • Evidence of sufficient Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • People management skills and at least 10 years’ experience in the fiduciary sector
  • Previous management experience
  • High level understanding and experience of compliance, risk and the mitigation thereof
  • Understanding of CRS/FATCA and experience of with the classification thereof
  • High level understanding of Jersey Company and Trust Laws;
