Purpose of the role:
As a Manager in the Financial Control function, you will be responsible supporting the Group Financial Controller in the delivery of accurate and insightful financial information to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the wider FC team with responsibility for the Financial Control of the Business including adherence to policies and procedures
- Closing the books on a monthly basis and managing the general ledger
- Established subject matter expert for designated key technical accounting issues especially in regard to revenue and related balance sheet items
- Being a first point of contact on the audit and statutory reporting process
Skills required:
- A relevant finance, accountancy or treasury qualification gained ideally in a Big 4 accountancy firm
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel
- Have experience of the trust and corporate services industry
- Experience of Microsoft Accounting software (Navision/Business central)
