Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Purpose of the role:

Our client is looking for a Paralegal who can embrace their innovative environment, and can play a significant role in providing comprehensive and confidential paralegal services to the Local Legal Services team.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and retrieving information necessary to support legal decision-making
  • Drafting and amending legal documentation
  • Preparing and issuing correspondence, including client notifications and letters
  • Maintaining records and using the IT systems to undertake searches
  • Working to tight reporting deadlines and meeting demanding client obligations

Skills required:

  • Experience in a similar role in a legal environment - if you have a relevant legal qualification (LLB/GDL/LPC) or alternatively, practical experience in a legal property team then this could be the perfect opportunity for you
  • Would consider a Junior Paralegal who would be interested in gaining experience within a Property environment
  • An organised "people person" with excellent telephone skills and experience in share transfer, flying freehold and/or freehold property work
  • Can efficiently manage your own time, prioritise work load and supportive and able to demonstrate agile and flexible working
