Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Junior Trust Officer to provide support with the administration of trust and company structures.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise directly with Wealth Planners, Trust Relationship Managers and Client Advisors with regard to day-to-day non-complex administration matters under guidance/supervision
- Provide support in the review of corporate documentation and arranging meetings and preparation of minutes where required
- Assist with the updating of client data where appropriate
- Adopt a positive and solution orientated approach to tasks liaising with colleagues where required
- Work with internal control functions with support/guidance where required
- Undertake other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Team Head or other members of the team
Skills required:
- You should hold a relevant professional qualification or be working towards a relevant qualification e.g. STEP
- Ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience working in the industry
- Knowledge of trust and company laws
- Good interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with both colleagues and clients
