Purpose of the role:
Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant to assist with the services provided to their cornerstone client, one of the most successful European Private Equity Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily and periodic bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of funds, structured as companies and limited partnerships
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements
- Build a thorough understanding of the activities of each of the funds for which the role holder will have responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with the client and other stakeholders
- Ensure that all accounting records are maintained in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Contribute to projects and attainment of the business’s strategic objectives
Skills required:
- Solid practical understanding of bookkeeping Some core knowledge of fund administration and accounting processes
- Ability to take on and interpret information quickly
- Ability to work as a team member and receptive to coaching and feedback
- Present positive solutions and have the confidence to escalate issues if necessary
